Coach Rob is a National Coach with USA Weightlifting and founder of The Austin Barbell Club. Rob also sits on the Board of Directors for the Texas State Weightlifting and Co-Chairs Kilo’s for Kids 501(c)3 non-profit.

Focused on technical excellence with emphasis on the Chinese system, Coach Rob has traveled to mainland China several times to study Olympic Weightlifting among some of the best in the world. Coach Rob is one of only a handful of western weightlifting coaches invited to professional training facilities in China.
